HOW TO PLAN A GREAT KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTY AT SCRAMBLE

Looking to throw a memorable kids birthday party for your child? We have just the birthday party venue! Hosting it at a Scramble birthday indoor play center in Northern Virginia removes stress and delivers pure fun for everyone.

With our clean, safe, and fun play environments, we offer everything you need to create a magical celebration that your child will remember for years to come. Here’s how to make it happen.

STEP 1 – BOOK IT
Start by booking your party in advance at goscramble.com. Choose the Scramble location you want (Alexandria, Falls Church, or Shirlington), then click the “Book a Party” button at the top of the page.

Party packages come in two options: Table Party and Room Party. A Table Party Package is perfect for up to 10 children and gives you a reserved table with large pizzas, fruit, and bottled waters to share. A Room Party Package (available only at Alexandria and Falls Church) can host up to 15 kids; you get a private room, individual-sized pizzas, fruit, chips, bottled waters, and juice for everyone.

Both packages come with complimentary party favors and – best of all – plenty of play time to enjoy Scramble’s play areas!

If you have more than 10 or 15 kids, you can add them to your order at $35 per child in Alexandria or Falls Church, or $28 per child at Scramble Parkour in Shirlington. You can also order additional food when you book your Scramble birthday party! Other play places often require locking in your group size upfront, but at Scramble you can make adjustments up until 30 minutes after check-in on the day of your event.

For particularly large groups (40+ kids and adults), email us at eventsinfo@goscramble.com to inquire about hosting a semi-private birthday party. While available at any Scramble location, our Union Station Café in Shirlington is ideal for bigger celebrations.

At booking, a $200 deposit secures your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable, so make sure your date is confirmed before you book!

STEP 2 – PLAN IT
Since your Scramble birthday already comes with food, fun activities, and a day-of party lead, planning is simple. You’ll only need to provide a birthday cake, as outside food and drinks aren’t allowed on-site. Refrigeration isn’t available, so ice cream cakes are not permitted.

You may bring mylar balloon decorations; check with staff if you want other decorations. Outside entertainers like clowns or petting animals are not allowed, so you won’t need to book extra performers. For questions, email eventsinfo@goscramble.com.

STEP 3 – ENJOY IT
On the big day, arrive 15–20 minutes early to check in, meet your Scramble party team, and prepare your room or table. Staff handle all cleanup, so you can focus on taking photos and making memories.

Kids can climb, slide, and explore Scramble play zones, while parents relax with coffee and snacks from the on-site café and use free Wi-Fi.

Playtime happens first for safety (and because kids won’t wait!). After ~90 minutes, we gather kids for pizza and presents, finish with a group photo, and hand out party favors.
